Monterrey's founder used his life experience to positively identify the needs of the security and event services industry. He has worked closely with industry leaders to systematically improve our services, while compiling best practices, included in our training. The MSC team fully understands the importance of every partnership. This approach results in a better quality service.
Monterrey Security is fully licensed by the State of Illinois Department of Finance and Professional Regulations as a Security Agency and Security Contractor. All officers receive State issued permanent employee registration cards. The classroom and field training our officers receive surpasses State of Illinois requirements.
Since all our armed officers are off-duty law enforcement officials, they are certified by the state to carry firearms, and are intimately familiar with the use of deadly force laws with in the State of Illinois.
In addition, individual staff holds certifications in occupational safety and health, construction safety, hazardous materials handling, crowd control management and evacuation planning.
A minority-owned firm, Monterrey Security is certified by the City of Chicago as a minority-business enterprise (MBE). Monterrey is also actively pursing federal 8(a) certification as a minority-owned business.
