As we all adapt our lives to the global spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19), we thought it was important to let you know that we take the well-being of our team very seriously and that your safety is – and always has been – our top priority.
We are working closely with all of our partners to establish a joint approach that puts our employee safety at the forefront while addressing business operations as needed.
Any team members feeling ill or displaying flu-like symptoms should stay home and visit a doctor for medical care as soon as possible. COVID-19 appears to mainly be spread through close person-to-person contact. Understanding the close proximity we have on a day-to-day basis with various occupations, throughout various work locations, is more important than ever.
To date, we have also provided all employees with guidelines to answer questions and concerns, while also providing best practices for the workplace, based on guidance provided by the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO). We have also developed guidelines specific to our organization regarding business operations and provided them to all staff, but especially our frontline staff. We are also encouraging all employees to reach out to HR or their direct manager should they have any questions or need to discuss next steps to take if there has been suspected exposure.
While it is unclear how long the spread of COVID-19 will last, we will continue to communicate regularly as the situation evolves. We appreciate the extra steps that all of our team members and partners are taking during this difficult time.
